Tinia Pina, Chief Executive Officer & Founder
In 2011, Tinia founded Re-Nuble with a mission to “Redefine Waste” within local, urban communities. A finance professional for 6 years and long-time community activist, Tinia launched Re-Nuble as an extension of her volunteer work in sustainability.
What began as an “overly ambitious” dream quickly evolved into an active, community based enterprise dedicated to changing wasteful habits around the world. Tinia received her B.S. in Business Information Technology from Virginia Tech and studyied at the Center for Environmental Research and Conservation at Columbia University’s Earth Institute. She is a Solid Waste Association of North America Certified Composting Systems Technical Associate.
An Nguyen, Vice President of Business Development
An Nguyen is experienced in guiding technology products and projects from conception to implementation to maintenance in both civil and commercial settings. Past clients include Bank of America, CVS, the IRS and AARP. At the University of Virginia, An studied both engineering and business. He completed both his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and MBA at University of Virginia.
Amit Mahadevia, Vice President of Sustainability
Amit has seven years of experience in integrating sustainable practices within infrastructure development. From co-authoring publications around natural hazard resistant design and sustainable practices to leading aspects of a climate change & sustainability business development group, Amit has developed a unique skill set that can be applied to re-nuble’s vision and mission.
After completing his Master’s in Civil Engineering at the James A. Clark school of Engineering, he has engaged in projects for clients such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency Transportation Research Board to incorporate sustainable and resilient design practices within these organizations.
Josef Mitkevicius, Vice President of Product Strategy & Legal Affairs
Josef is an attorney with a sustainable agriculture background and extensive knowledge of the waste industry. Prior to transitioning to the field of law, Josef spent many years working on and managing organic vegetable farms. Out of these experiences, he developed a deep commitment to working towards large-scale solutions for utilizing society’s “waste” as a valuable component of sustainable food production. After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, Josef has worked to combine his legal skills with his passion for developing waste solutions by organizing and negotiating commercial waste hauling contracts on behalf of several large community institutions.
Austin Brentley, Vice President of Online Marketing & Branding
A Washington, D.C. native and Harvard University graduate, Austin Brentley is Re-Nuble’s VP of Online Marketing and Branding. With more than a decade in Web development, search engine optimization, and inbound marketing experience, Austin remains an enthusiastic supporter of environmental protection and global sustainability.
After completing his MBA at Nottingham Business School, he worked with a number of solar PV firms, providing communications and marketing support. Previous clients include SunPower Corp., US Solar Institute, and Jinko Solar. An Eagle Scout, avid camper, and world traveler, Austin is thrilled to be joining the Re-Nuble team.

Delroy Leslie
Delroy is the CEO of Positive Energy Alternatives, LLC – a firm that develops anaerobic digesters and gas upgrading systems for biogas energy parks throughout the United States.
Clifford W. Randall
Clifford is Virginia Tech’s Charles P. Lunsford Professor Emeritus of Civil and Environmental Engineering. For more than three decades Cliff Randall, PhD, Dist.M. ASCE, taught generations of environmental engineers at Virginia Tech before retiring as The C. P. Lunsford Professor Emeritus of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has published extensively, with over 260 technical and professional articles in various journals and conferences proceedings.
Jeffrey Stottlemyer
Jeff Stottlemyer is currently a senior research consultant with CEB, where he helps a global network of project and portfolio management executives solve strategic and operational challenges. Prior to CEB, he was Co-Founder and President of Dunkirk Bioenergy, a renewable energy company developing anaerobic digestion systems in Western New York. He brings direct industry experience as well as strategic planning and business development skills.
Robert M. Cox, Jr.
A SCORE advisor and established turnaround expert, Robert contributes 30 years of management and leadership experience in both the manufacturing and service industries. Robert excels at transforming insolvent, underperforming start-ups into high-growth enterprises.
