Our team felt that it was important to share with you commonly asked questions raised by farms about our water-soluble, organic hydroponic nutrient product called Away We Grow® (4-1-1). We share them here with you so that you're also aware of the latest.

In this video, Tinia Pina, Founder and CEO of Re-Nuble, reviews how Away We Grow® is water-soluble and by that we mean "immediately available to the plant as nutrients." It's important that we share how this is made possible because inorganic nutrients or fertilizers are most widely used in controlled environment agriculture and vertical farming. Yet, we've uniquely developed a proprietary method that allows us to process the standardized and sterilized vegetative byproducts and convert this raw material into nutrients that can immediately be absorbed by the plant. Normally, a farm would require the supplementation or usage of additional, and often times, expensive microbes to aid in the breakdown (decomposition) of the nutrient compounds, of macro and micronutrients, into a water-soluble form. However, we have removed the time and expense needed to enable this and removed the requirement of additional equipment to make this happen.

Though, we're often asked, "Will This Product Help My Farm Exceed The Growth Rate When Using Conventional, Synthetic Mineral Salts?"

Our answer to this question is "No; however our Away We Grow will enable you to achieve consistent yields to your current synthetic mineral salts." (Inorganic) conventional mineral salts are formulated in such as way that all minerals are ionically available to the plant. In a true biological environment this is not normal to how plants convert minerals into plant food for growth. It is often the case that more mineral salts are supplied to the plant and a farm's water reservoir for use than the plant actually requires. We have found that a 30 ppm of nitrate sourced from our products is sufficient for growth when tested on buttercrisp, for example. Suffice to say, simply by the nature of how organic (inputs) nutrients work with plants, which is how we believe food production should be practiced, our products will never exceed the growth rate of mineral salts.

How does this make your job easier to grow nutritionally robust, sustainable, local, and consistently yielding plants and food?

  • You can achieve consistent yields to synthetic mineral salts when using our liquid, water-soluble organic hydroponic nutrients for vegetables and plants - without requiring the need for additional time and products to break down nutrients into an ionic form for plant absorption.
  • Nutrient concentration (measured by the Electroconductivity, "EC") will remain steady throughout grow
  • pH adjustments to be within ideal (crop specific) range is managed in the same way it is managed when using synthetic mineral salts
